What is French Roundhand?
French Roundhand is a twentieth century American simplified calligraphic script based on the seventeenth century French “Ronde.”

Generally, French Roundhand is executed with a broad pen inside of a straight penholder. The forms are typically vertical, connective slant is restricted to a 45 degree angle, and the minuscule o is based on a circle.
