When Aurelia Demark reached out to us to produce brand artwork for her fine jewelry company, we immediately knew that she would be a perfect client for us. Aurelia came prepared with inspiration at the ready—which allowed us to get straight into what we do best: meticulous script lettering. By pulling inspiration from several art nouveau influences alongside samples of historic French handwriting and signature styles, we worked diligently to bring Aurelia’s vision to life.
On Process —
As a series of concepts are rapidly drafted in pencil, we begin to hone in on which stylistic elements that will make it into the final mark. Those that receive a positive response Aurelia move forward to the next round of revisions. This collaborative process gives the client a intimate sense of identity in the finished mark.
From our very first call, his enthusiasm for the project, his knowledge and passion for calligraphy assured me that the process would be seamless. He asked all the right questions to understand what I was envisioning. He took my inspiration and ideas and made them come to life with his lettering. I will definitely work with David again.
